We are not a taxi service. Our Private Airport Shuttle Service requires pre-ordering. We guarantee competitive prices. For groups exceeding 6 passengers: Due to restrictions in Reykjavik's city center, minibuses may drop off at designated bus stops, typically a 1-3 minute walk from your destination. These regulations apply to all companies operating in downtown Reykjavik. Further details are available on our Bus-stop site.
Bookings
Bookings can be made directly at https://airportshuttleiceland.com/ or via email to sales@snaeland.is. For private tours, one main contact is required to provide payment and contact information for the group.
Payment Terms
Payments can be made online using a credit card or through a secure payment link sent by our sales team. The process is secure and independent; we do not receive or store your credit card information.
Cancellation Policy
- Private Airport Transfers and Day Tours: Full refund for cancellations made 24 hours prior to departure. Email cancellations to sales@snaeland.is. No refund for later cancellations.
- Multi-Day and Self-Drive Tours:
More than 1 week prior to arrival: 90% refund
Between 1 week and 24 hours prior to departure: 50% refund
Less than 24 hours prior to departure: No refund
- Private Tours (Non-Accommodation):
More than 72 hours prior to arrival: Full refund
Between 72 and 24 hours prior to departure: 50% refund
Less than 24 hours prior to departure: No refund
- Private Tours (With Accommodation):
More than 1 week prior to arrival: 50% refund
Between 1 week and 24 hours prior to departure: No refund
Pricing and Validity
All prices include VAT and taxes. Rates and conditions from sales representatives are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Prices are per adult, vehicle, or room, depending on the tour type.
Liability and Force Majeure
Snæland Travel is not liable for loss, damage, accidents, sickness, or schedule changes due to external factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to alter routes, itineraries, or times as necessary. Any additional costs due to flight changes (hotels, meals, transfers, etc.) are the responsibility of the traveler. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly advised.
General Liability
Snæland Travel is not responsible for injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, cost, or claims resulting from:The actions or omissions of travelers or any party memberActs of third parties unrelated to service provisionForce Majeure circumstances
Complaints
Issues during holidays should be addressed immediately to Snæland Travel. All complaints must be received before departure from Iceland for potential compensation.
Insurance
Travel insurance is essential. Snæland Travel is not liable for costs incurred due to lack of insurance coverage. Ensure that your insurance covers all holiday activities.
Credit Card Fraud
We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to declined payments or incorrect credit card information. Random checks may be conducted to minimize fraud.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Iceland. The courts of Iceland have jurisdiction over disputes arising from this agreement.
